What
is the Highway Street Team?
The Highway Street Team plays a HUGE role in getting the word
out about inspirational music! It’s a group of proactive
music lovers JUST LIKE YOU dedicated to promoting inspirational
music to as many people as possible and ensuring the continued
support of Highway artists like Jericho Road, Alex Boye, and
Cherie Call.

Who
can join?
Anyone over the age of 12! If you are 12 or under, don't worry,
you can still have a parent sign up for you.

How
does it work?
As concerts, firesides, special events or album releases happen,
team members will be notified by e-mail. Promotion activities
and materials will be sent to interested team members (materials
include fliers, posters, e-mails, etc…). After you complete
your team tasks, you’ll send us a brief report describing
what you did. Points are assigned to each promotion activity
and free gifts are awarded for your accumulation of points.
If you’re not available for certain group activities,
you can still do work on your own and still accumulate points.

What
will I be expected to do?
By joining the Highway Street Team, you can choose from a
variety of promotional activities. These include going to
concerts and firesides, handing out fliers at bookstores,
record stores and shopping centers, hanging up posters, making
requests to radio stations, e-mailing friends, recruiting
new members…basically having fun! Just sell the music
you love so much so others can enjoy it too!

will I receive my assignments?
You will be sent assignments via e-mail.

What’s
in it for me?
In addition to the satisfaction of promoting your favorite
artists, you’ll get all kinds of incentives based on
a point system. The more you promote…the more you get!
Incentives include things like:
• pre-release copies of new albums
• concert tickets
• artist meet-and-greets
• posters
• autographs
• t-shirts
• member only e-mails
• artist info
• and many other special benefits!
Periodically we’ll have contests for new ideas and campaigns.
When you send us a new idea, your name will be entered into
a pool for more free drawings!

do I join?
It’s easy! Fill out the application form on this site
and you will be notified shortly after with more information.

much does it cost to join?
Absolutely nothing! All we ask is a few minutes of your time
each week to help spread the word about the Highway Record
Crew.

Soon after we receive your application, we’ll send you
a special package filled with info, promo items and directions
so you can get started immediately…e-mail, etc…

What
artists will I be promoting?
The Highway Record label currently includes these recording
artists:

Maren Ord
Depending on album releases and concert dates, different artists
will be promoted more heavily during different times of the
year. But if you have a favorite artist, you’re welcome
to work hard promoting them ALL YEAR ROUND!

Can
I choose which artists I want to promote?
We understand that you may have special loyalties and ties
to certain artists, but there will be times when team efforts
are focused on a certain artist or project and we need everyone’s
help so the Highway mission is accomplished. However, knowing
that not everyone can do everything we ask, we encourage all
members to do what they enjoy most in promoting their favorites!

How
much time do I have to spend each week?
There is no minimum time requirement. It’s totally up
to you how much you want to do. But remember...the more you
do, the more you help you favorite artist get their music
out there…AND there’s more rewards for YOU!

Do
I have to send feedback?
YES! We love to hear what you’re doing! Send us new
promotion ideas, pictures of you and other fans working hard—even
your experiences with the music. We’ll post them on
the site for other team members to enjoy! Send pictures and
info to kmaurer@xelent.com.

often do I have to send feedback?
Whenever you do work and whenever you want to get your points.

often will I receive e-mail from Highway Records?
One official e-mail will be sent every couple of weeks. Occasionally,
we’ll send special editions but we encourage you to
visit the Website for the latest news and events.

do I get more materials to hand out?
We’ll send you the needed materials. If you run out
of show flyers contact us…more can be downloaded from
the download section…

information will I find on the street team Website?
Highway Street Team members will have access to all kinds
of inspirational music information, news and press releases,
music industry Q&A, promotion tips, eCards, banner ads
and more!

Are
there any rules?
1. All merchandise is to be given out for free. We understand
that you might want to keep one of each item we send to you
and that’s fine, but please do not sell anything.
2. Please remember that some stores may have rules against
handing out fliers on their property. You might want to check
first before you put anything in these areas. If we send you
to a specific store, it means we have already been granted
permission to be there.
3. We also reserve the right to remove any member who is unruly
or disruptive from the team lists. Your actions as a member
of the Highway Street Team are a direct reflection of the
label and the artists. It is our responsibility to keep activities
running in a positive and professional manner.

if I don’t live in Utah?
PLEASE join! We would love to encourage a greater awareness
of our artists and their messages throughout the United States.
You could be a key player in that development!

if I don’t live in the Unites States?
Join the TEAM! The market for inspirational music outside
the United States continues to grow all the time. Periodically
some of our artists travel outside the US to perform and you
could help that happen more frequently!

Certainly. You may discontinue your membership at any time.

No worries. The e-mail you provided us with will only be used
